Luxury Interior Remodel in Manhattan Beach | Walk Streets Project

Modern Design with Spanish-Inspired Touches

Located in the highly desirable Walk Streets of Manhattan Beach, this recently completed luxury interior remodel blends contemporary sophistication with subtle Spanish-style architectural influences. Although just moments from the ocean, the home moves beyond typical coastal design, embracing warm materials, arched forms, and refined finishes that create a timeless, elevated atmosphere.

This project highlights how thoughtful planning, custom craftsmanship, and premium materials can transform a residence into something truly special.

Modern Luxury with Spanish-Inspired Architecture

From the moment you enter, the home sets the tone with warm, wide-plank wood flooring that runs throughout the interior. These natural tones provide the perfect backdrop for the home’s modern lines, while the repeated use of arched passageways introduces a nod to classic Spanish architecture.

The arches soften transitions between spaces and are carried into several bathrooms, where they frame the shower entrances and add continuity across the home. This mix of structure and curve creates a balanced design that feels both contemporary and timeless.

Italian Cabinetry in This Manhattan Beach Luxury Interior Remodel

A defining feature of this Manhattan Beach remodel is the use of luxury Italian cabinetry throughout the home, including the kitchen, dry bar, bathroom vanities, closets, and custom built-ins. The kitchen pairs sleek European styling with high performance, featuring integrated Miele appliances for a clean, seamless look.

Select upper cabinets include glass fronts with interior backlighting, adding depth and visual interest while highlighting the craftsmanship behind each piece. The result is a kitchen that feels both refined and highly functional—perfect for entertaining and everyday living.

Custom Closets, Built-Ins & Lighting Details

Storage spaces were elevated well beyond the ordinary. Custom closets and built-ins feature integrated strip lighting, improving functionality while adding a luxurious, boutique-like feel.

Lighting plays a major role throughout the home. Decorative sconces and chandeliers, including fixtures with onyx shades, bring warmth and elegance to each room. These layered lighting elements complement the natural daylight pouring in from multiple skylights across the property.

Texture, Tile & Concreta Plaster Finishes

Intricate tile designs are showcased in kitchens and bathrooms, adding personality and craftsmanship to each space. To further enhance the modern aesthetic, Concreta plaster was applied throughout select areas, including the bathrooms and the dramatic living room focal wall.

The subtle texture of the plaster provides visual depth while maintaining a soft, organic appearance, another detail that bridges modern design with Spanish-inspired materiality.

Living Room Fireplace Feature

The living room centers around a stunning architectural statement: a fireplace wrapped in large-format stone slab, with Concreta plaster extending from the surround all the way to the ceiling. This vertical treatment draws the eye upward, grounding the room with texture and scale while reinforcing the home’s luxurious yet comfortable ambiance.

Staircase, Skylights & Architectural Highlights

One of the most striking moments in the home occurs at the staircase. A custom metal railing with decorative knuckle-designed balusters provides a modern contrast while maintaining openness between levels.

Above, four skylights surround a central chandelier, flooding the space with natural light and creating a dramatic focal point. Additional skylights throughout the home enhance the airy, coastal-meets-Spanish feel while reducing the need for artificial lighting during the day.
